Stefan Nolte, Marketing & Sales Consultant
Stefan Nolte joined G&K TechMedia in December 2001 and handles advertisement sales for NarrowWebTech and the German sister-magazine Etiketten-Labels.
In 1984 he came in close contact with the printing industry during his prior professional occupation for an international travel operator, handling marketing, advertising and printing of travel brochures.
Armin Karl Geiger, Editor
Armin Karl Geiger joined G&K TechMedia in 1996. He worked as an editor for Flexo+Tief-Druck and Flexo & Gravure Global where he was responsible for text editing, translation and proof reading. He also participated in the editing of technical manuals and special publications.
Currently he is the editor of NarrowWebTech. He holds a master degree in history and political science.
Nick Coombes, Editor-at-large
Nick Coombes joined the print industry in 1977 as Marketing Manager of a UK company that imported bookbinding and finishing equipment from the former East Germany.
In 1980, he established The Publicity Studio, a marketing consultancy for the print industry, which lists Bobst, Gallus, KBA, Mark Andy, Martin Automatic, Omet, and Vetaphone amongst his past and present clients.
He is a regular editorial contributor to the industry’s leading magazines including Folding Carton Industry, Labels & Labeling, Pack Print World, Packaging & Print Media (South Africa) and Australian Printer. In January 2014 he was appointed Editor-at-large of Narrow Web Tech.
Anthony R. White, Consultant Editor
Tony White has been involved with the printing industry in many guises for 55 years. Although his background was originally technical he has held management positions in companies ranging from Works Director to European Marketing Manager for an international corporate which included photopolymer plates, laser engraving and managing a prestigious flexo trade shop.
Tony worked for PIRA, the research establishment for the printing industry for almost nine years heading up their flexographic printing unit. Projects took him as far as Mauritius and Jordan as well as many European countries. He also published several reports while at Pira including High Quality Flexography.
For the past 18 years Tony has been self employed as a consultant specialising in labels and the flexo process. Tony is a past National Chairman of the Institute of Printing, a current Chairman of Judges for FINAT’s extensive awards programme which he also administers in co-operation with their head office. Tony is also Chairman of the World Label Awards which includes the USA, Europe, Japan, China, India, New Zealand, Brazil and Australia.
Finally, he has also been chairing the Turkish Label Association judging panel for more than ten years. For the past 17 years, Tony has been the Consultant Editor of both Flexo and Gravure Global as well as the NarroWebTech, both circulated internationally. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Printing, Paper and Publishing and a Fellow of the Institute of Packaging and a member of the Institute of Directors.
