Heidelberg – Show appearance with “Fire” digital product line

The Gallus Labelfire 340 is the new product name for the former DCS 340 for the growth market of digital label printing

GERMANY • As of drupa 2016, Heidelberg will be presenting its entire digital printing offering under a standardized family name, the “Fire” product line. The digital printing portfolio is aimed at particularly innovative business models and pioneering printing applications.

Gallus Labelfire 340 is the new product name for the former Gallus DCS 340 for the growth market of digital label printing. The machine was launched at Labelexpo Europe 2015 and is distributed by Gallus, the Swiss subsidiary of Heidelberg. The reel-fed Gallus Labelfire 340 digital converting systems integrates digital printing, conventional inline finishing and processing workflows, taking labels straight from the roll to the finished product in a single production stage. It is provided with next-generation inkjet printing heads, developed in close cooperation with Heidelberger Druckmaschinen and their technology partner for inkjet printing, Fujifilm.
