AMSTERDAM • Label’Or of Lontzen, Belgium, has been awarded two prizes at the recent annual European Label Forum. They received the first overall award in digital printing for a label produced on a transparent material for Marcotty – La Salaison du Condroz. The jury particularly praised the excellent opacity of the white covering which enhances the brightness of the colours. The first-rate legibility of information (in negative) and the label’s inclusion of a window so that the consumer can see the product, also caught the judges’ attention. In addition, Label’Or was commended for its label for the beer brand Val-Dieu Triple’, submitted in the dry toner category.

Founded in 1978, the family run Label’Or specialises in the manufacture and printing of self-adhesive roll labels in small and medium-sized runs as well as larger runs, divided into several versions. The company entered the digital printing sector in 2008 and since then achieved a respected reputation in this field.
