Nuova Gidue: Double sales success

M5 Excellence

AUSTRALIA The new M5 Excellence allows converters to prepare new print and die-cutting jobs on the press, while it is continuing to print its current job. It has less than 10 m (32.81ft) waste- and offers press downtime and set-up time of just 1 minute. A M5 Excellence Digital Flexo 4.0, 430 mm (16.93”), eight-colour UV flexo press featuring ExcelPrint for automated exchange of printing cylinders, ExcelDie for closed loop inline quality control, has been sold to the Australian company Print Media Group for their Scorfesby, VIC plant.

Adriano Melis, Gidue Sales Area Manager, commented »The M5 is an unlimited substrate press, which transforms flexo printing and die-cutting into a digital process. The main and most important feature of the M5 is that the actual machine is designed to target the short-run, medium and long run work. With this new model, Gidue is offering converters a machine that can print any short-run work at a low cost, with full automation. It removes human error on pressures, right up to the die and through to the finished product. And, when required, you can combine it with the medium to long runs. «

Another press that has generated a lot of interest during recent Labelexpo Europe was the digitally assisted M3. One such digital flexo press has been sold to Australian company Wagner JV of Wetherill Park, NSW with a configuration of 370 mm (14.57”) width, eight UV flexo units, Digigap technology for automated die-cutting pressure, pre-register and register.
